Oh this game has exceeded my expectations. I am SO happy they remade this. I remember when it was announced I was so shocked. I remember buying this 20 years ago!!!

Its interesting seeing how the old TTYD trailer focused more around what Mario could do as a paper character while the newer trailer focuses more on the goofy situations Mario gets into. Definitely shows that Nintendo has a better understanding of what made that game so good

The song has so much life but this also makes the GameCube ending look much more dull in comparison-

I’ve never played TTYD but I had always heard about people praising it online. My favorite was SPM with TOK being a close second. Being able to finally play it, man idk so far this game has been fantastic. I won’t say it beats those two YET, but so far it’s been a pretty strong contender!

It’s more of a reward than a punishment really.

I love the addition of the OG Paper Mario title screen music. It’s like a callback to what helped make TTYD so great in the first place, embracing its roots.

I never played the original, but I'm thrilled with the game so far. I had to come and find an extended version of this.

I felt insane watching TTYD runs at old GDQs and thinking the title screen sounded different but chalked it up to the audio setup and the people talking over it. Never really considered it could be a regional difference so it's nice to have that confirmation for myself finally.

Man the Japanese commercials they make these days compared to the 2000s, gees, they have slightly changed but not by much....Even their old Gamecube commercials for their games still features footage from the actual game adn such.

While many people may like this commercial, I sadly would say the original was a lot more, interesting. The Japanese commercials would be the same.

nintendo better keep this train rolling seeing how this game did they keep paper mario in this style of gameplay sooo good just beat this game today...this brings my inner kid back pkaying the og on the gamecube it feels like i played this game for the first time i never thought i'd get that feeling back with a remake but here we are!..what a timeline we live in to all the new players coming into this game i hope you enjoy it! ^w^
